Your team is allocated to a different VOC each night, you may only go to the VOC you are allocated (unless there is an emergency that prevents you from doing so). VOCs have a capacity of 60% of all teams on any one night, once that capacity is reached a team’s second preference is allocated.
Friday Night
You select your preferences for a VOC when you register your team online (you can alter your selection any time before registrations close).
Preferences are allocated to teams that register and pay early and correctly first. Teams that register late or do not provide signed forms or payment may not receive their first preference.
Saturday Night and Sunday Night
Teams Select preferences in the team Passport during the previous day and hand it in at the VOC Check-in on the previous night (Fri for Sat; Sat for Sun) Preferences are allocated to teams based on how many points they achieve during the day. Teams that get fewer points or do fewer activities may not receive their first preference.
THE VOCs
VOC 1 has heaps of great night entertainment options, there may even be a jumping castle!! It is always popular with Venturers from all over Australia so you will meet heaps of other Venturers and have a great time at VOC 1.
VOC 2 is hosted by Sydney North Region Rovers. VOC 2 is known for its party atmosphere. If you want to party, VOC 2 is the way to go! VOC 2 has many lit activities on offer; a dance tent where a variety of music is played throughout the night, movie tent and giant Jenga and other small activities for your teams or new friends to play. VOC 2 has many competitive activities such a minute to win it games, donut eating and exploding watermelons.
VOC 3 is the place to be! VOC 3 is home to Rovers from South Coast & Tablelands, South Met and increasingly The Golden West. Our Rovers and Leaders work all year round to bring you an impressive variety of themed night activities that changes every year. Be prepared for Venturer vs. Venturer challenges throughout the night, with prizes for the victor! The Dance tent with our live DJ is rocking from line up at the VOC 3 gateway, until late at night. Our Hospitality tent has movies, games, and hot drinks all for your enjoyment. See you at VOC 3!
VOC 4 is run by Rovers/Leaders from Greater Western Sydney, Hunter Coastal and the Golden West regions as well as interstate. While at VOC 4 we have a wide range of activities throughout the night to suit everyone, from dancing in our huge high tech disco tent to grabbing a stick of fairy floss or hot donuts and chilling out in our chill out zone before watching a movie with friends. If you are lucky enough you might even get to catch the Easter bunny at VOC 4.
