What are “BOOTS”?
The BOOTS (Buckets Of On Track Support) team provide active support to Competitors offering encouragement, support, guidance and general assistance to participating teams throughout the event. They assist with any issues relating to pastoral care, welfare, first aid and safety and are always available to participants in need.
BOOTS team members are based on a VOC and work within the VOC area, or may be delegated to other areas as needed.
Becoming a member of “BOOTS”
Any adult over the age of 20, interested in working with BOOTS during Dragon Skin must apply for selection.
Approximately 5-6 BOOTS staff will be allocated to each VOC and any preference of VOC should be nominated with your enquiry. Simply email BOOTS@dragonskin.nswscouts.com.au and supply your name, group, appointment and a brief statement of why you wish to be a member of this year’s BOOTS Team.
The BOOTS Team Leader will be in contact to discuss your application, once you have been accepted to the BOOTS team you will be given a registration code that will be required when entering your Dragon Skin Application.
