How to Enter - Dragon Skin

Every team member must complete an individual online application via the Dragon Skin Registration System. As part of the Team Leader’s application, they will be able to create the team. The Team Leader will need to know the names (correct spelling) and Scout Membership Numbers for all the team members. Please follow the following steps:

Form your Team

First step is to form your team! Teams are made up of 4 – 7 members where you will have a designated Team Leader & Team Members. It is a good idea to understand the skills & experience of your team members so you have a good mix when competing! If you don’t have a team, don’t worry you can apply and email info@dragonskin.nswscouts.com.au to help you form a team with others that are in need of a team as well!

Create your Application via the On-Line Event Management System (OLEMS)
Enter the Team details on the Teams Tab of your Application
Enter the details of your Venturer Leader on the Leader Endorsement tab
Submit your online Application
Ensure you and your parents/guardians sign the form electronically
Ask your Venturer Leader to check their emails and complete the Leader Endorsement
Pay your Dragon Skin Fee via OLEMS
When all Team Members have complete applications (including all signatures and Leader Endorsement), and everyone has paid, your team will be approved to attend Dragon Skin and a team confirmation will be emailed back to the Team Leader. This will include how to get all the information needed to plan for the event, as well as details on when and where to check-in on Good Friday.
Can’t find a full team? Don’t worry! Teams with less that four members and even individual applications are still very welcome. We will place you with other smaller teams to make up a full team, so just fill in the online team application form with however many Venturers you have and we'll help you join a team.

In Summary

Dragon Skin will be held at Penrose State Forest.
Your team must check-in together at a single location.
A standard entry fee per person will apply.
Teams can consist of four, five or six members, although we will accept teams of seven if no alternative exists.
Teams of less than four members or even individuals can still apply and will be placed with other smaller teams.
You must apply online.

Online Applications open on 1st December 2024 and close on 6th April 2025. All payments must be received and applications fully completed by midday 11th April 2025.
